Birth of fieber
While working at the Kulturladen e.V. (KULA) in Constance, the idea to launch a new Event-Series arose. We envisioned a party that embodies a state of mind, a space where you get lost in the motion and are absorbed by the energy of the crowd. So "fieber" (fever) was born.
Rooted in HipHop focusing on the Trap, Soundcloud and New School sound, we wanted to create an alternative offer for going out in the otherwise very techno-dominated partying scene.

Core values and alignment
We chose to take a simplistic and raw approach, in order not to overwhelm the observer while underlining approachability. Our goal was to transmit that certain feel of HipHop culture without leaning into stereotypical depictions too much, while also still subliminally communicating the feel and overall direction of the party and what could be expected as a potential guest.
Furthermore, we wanted to maintain a certain degree of artistic and organizational freedom for further developing the format, for example, when bringing in live acts or other specials. This meant that the design had to encapsulate our core message while also being adaptable for future development and expansion. All this without compromising a strong core brand.
With all that in mind, I designed a custom typographic logo with a graffitiesque look. Developing it starting with hand-drawn sketches and later implementing it digitally using Illustrator.
The Design
All things considered, I created the final design that solved the requirements for this branding commission. The commission included:
- A Brand new Logo design
- Branding and Creative Direction for "fieber"
- Design Materials (Posters, Stickers, Social Media Content)
The final design featured on the poster advertisements and social media channels.
Announcement posts for the DJ advertisement featured on Instagram.
Design for the stickers and the official Spotify playlist.
